Think Work Observe designed the first comprehensive catalogue of unique pieces by DimoreStudio, the interior design studio based in Milan. The trademark style of DimoreStudio’s work is that of a design practice constantly moving between design, art, architecture and fashion. Our aim was to conceive a catalogue as a proper work of art, reinventing it in the form of curatorial selection, as it was a catalogue raisonné. We constructed and designed it with great attention to every single detail, using different papers to divide the four chapters in which we decided to show Dimore production. We gave it a strong photographic identity, imagining the title “The Silent House” to enrich the decadent pictures printed on an high-volume coated paper. An extract from an Amélie Nothomb’s book, a cover inspired by 60’s spatial sculptures in Italy, hot foiled on high quality grey paper, and a tactile chapter that play with textile patterns. The book, photographed by Andrea Ferrari and printed in a limited edition by Grafiche dell’Artiere in Italy, was presented during Fuorisalone 2016 exhibition at DimoreGallery in Milan.
