Tacchini is a philosophy. Behind every object there’s a story and behind every story there’s a person. — This is the concept of the new visual identity we conceived for Tacchini Italia Forniture, the brand based in Brianza (Italy), producing high quality design forniture for the contract and the domestic sector. To coordinate the communication of Tacchini required to focus the message into a diptych: Objects, Stories is the header of the website and explain more than any other sentence the vision of the company, strictly related to the human side of the design.
When we approached the design of the website, we wanted to create a flux, to permit to browse it in a different way. We wanted not only to provide a system that can order the huge amount of informations, but mostly a fluid interface that can suggest contents and paths of navigation. The result, is a contextual menu, with three different levels, that can lead you to the single information as well as can suggest you something you weren’t even looking for. Four macro-areas define the big themes, then each page can be dynamically created by the administrator with multi media contents. Even the Search function is a specific tool, that gives you a fast access to specific informations. Adapted for Retina display devices, the new website is a pure tool for agents and architects as well as common users.
Moreover, we decided to design a new version of Tacchini bespoke font in order to use it on the website and then on the whole identity. T’Grotesque evolves the old grotesque version in a more contemporary geometric way.
