Travel Without Moving
Travel Without Moving

Federico Ciamei conceived Travel Without Moving as a photobook that creatively tells nine stories of grand adventures – some real, some legendary – through the use of images sourced from online libraries. The book’s title is taken from the film Dune: in the first scene a galactic princess says it’s possible to travel through space and time without moving. We designed it as a double layered narration, in which the binding itself produces the effect of an overlapped image.

Published by Skinnerboox, it has been awarded with the Honorable Mention at Premio Marco Bastianelli 2017 and has been reviewed on The New York Times.
